Add estimate

New estimate

An estimate is created for an academic year. This allows you to create an estimate for the current year or the next.

Choose the relevant year from the drop-down list.

Clicking Create will create the new estimate and take you back to the list of existing estimates.

Clicking Cancel will also take you back without saving.

Note

The estimate values are used by Heads of Subject to allocate work to academic staff. Please ensure that you are aware of the effects of creating a new estimate.

The calculated estimate values may need to be manually adjusted. If you are creating a new estimate to replace an earlier one you will need to re-do any manual adjustments that were made previously.
